We have compiled a list of five hot TV shows that everyone is watching on Netflix in South Africa right now. We have it all from terror, love, mystery, deceit, and action.

1. Inventing Anna

A journalist with a lot to prove investigates the case of Anna Delvey, the Instagram-legendary German heiress who stole the hearts of New York's social scene - and stole their money as well. This show trended for weeks on Twitter and received a lot of praise and criticism from viewers. Based on a true story, Inventing Anna is a fast-paced and addictive watch, and it definitely left us on the edge of our seats.

2. Worst Roommate Ever

When Alex Miller let Jed Creek rent her room via Craigslist, she had no idea that he was a notorious serial squatter, and that he would use his knowledge of tenancy laws to slowly kick her out of her own home. Talk about creepy. This show is the definition of spine chilling. You never know who to trust, and this series shows the worst of the worst people and the various ways they entrapped their roommates.

3. Vikings Valhalla

A follow-up series to Vikings set 100 years afterward and centering on the adventures of Leif Erikson, Freydis, Harald Hardrada, and the Norman King William the Conqueror. Fans of Vikings will love this one, and it's a scorcher. Full of action and hot, brooding men, we give this one a 10/10.

4. Love is Blind

On its second season now, Love Is Blind, hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, opened with 30 single hopefuls looking for love. However, as the episodes progressed, the pool was whittled down to six men and six women as the primary focus. Fans of the show love the new season, and others are playing catch up and bingeing the first season so they can join the conversation about which couple is going to last. We have to admit, they're a good-looking bunch.

5. Pieces of Her

Chills, literal chills. When a Saturday afternoon trip to the mall with her mother suddenly explodes into violence, an adrift young woman's conception of her mother is forever changed. This limited series is full of dramatic twists and in pure Netflix style, it's left us wanting more.
